| At the Aquarius Institute of Computer Science we offer a comprehensive software educational training & placement assistance in the Chicago land area. Courses consist of six to twenty weeks of “hands-on’’ classroom instructions, depending on the type of courses. At Aquarius institute we limit the size of our class to 14 students in order to provide good interaction with every student. AQUARIUS METHODOLOGY
Aquarius Institute of Computer Science provides comprehensive information technology training through the use of cutting edge software applications. At Aquarius we train our students to enter this business world with the skills to add value to a company immediately. We believe technical knowledge alone is not sufficient, but rather a fine integration of technical and communication skills that will empower the individual to deliver value-added work products in a clear and concise manner. To achieve this goal, Aquarius stresses the importance of individual attention, state-of-the-art facilities, and business related examples. Each student has his/her own computer to practice and learn on during class, as well as excellent materials that allow the student to learn at his/her own pace outside of class. The facilities allow the students to practice anytime between 9AM and 10PM seven days a week to accommodate even the most hectic of schedules. Specifically, Aquarius provides Training in Certification courses like Oracle (RDBMS, Dev/2000), for OCP, Oracle DBA, Visual Basic, E-Commerce courses such as Web Development, Java, C++. Microsoft Windows NT MCSE Certification, A+ Certification. Our training is focused on empowering employees with the ability to grasp any concept in any software system on any platform-thus giving them flexibility to solve any business issue that may arise during the course of an implementation. As everybody is aware that Certified Professional make more $$ than non certified because of our Professional Certification programs our students have an edge in the Job Market. GRADUATION PROCEDURE
Graduation depends on the valid marks scored in the examination conducted at appropriate time after sufficient instruction has been provided. Passing and graduation are based upon the final examination and the percentage of marks scored in all the assignments.
GRADING METHODOLOGY
Grades are based on the following percentage of marks scored in the examinations.
90 %-above score “A” grade
80%-89% score “B” grade
70%-79% score “C” grade
60%-69% score “D” grade
59% & Below “E “ grade Note: Students who achieves below “C” grade is considered to have failed and need to repeat the course again until he/she completes the same successfully.
SCORING PROCEDURE
5 take home assignments 30% score
1 mid term exam 30% score
Final exam 40% score Note: 80 % attendance is mandatory to be considered for the graduation.
INSTALLMENT PLANS
Students have the option of paying for the courses with an installment plan. No interest is charged for using the installment method of payment. A late fee of $10 per week applies to all installment plans not paid on schedule, see installment plan sheet for details.
TECHNOLOGY LOAN PROGRAM
Some students have their training paid for by their employers or they receive other forms of financial assistance for their training, and some students do not for these students, We present the Technology Training Loan Program.
Unsecured, revolving line of credit up to $15,000,available for IT education related expenses only if the student has good credit history.
Interest Rates: First 24 months fixed 12.99%. But Aquarius pays 3.0% for our students and the student pays only 9.99%.
Service Fee: There is a service fee of 7% of the loan, only one time charge by bank.
Minimum payment for first 24 months interest only i:e $25 or whichever is greater, even pay more with your convenience in order to avoid more interest for longer payments.
For example: Minimum Monthly payment for $3000.00 tuition fee First 24 months the candidate has to pay a minimum$27/month and after 24 months minimum of $65/month till the end of the payment or candidate can make more payments to avoid interest on the loan.

REPEATING A COURSE
After the completion of a course, a student may repeat the completed course within twelve months after the completion of such course. There is no fee for repeating a course.
Application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to class start date.
REFUND POLICY
Aquarius Institute wants its students to be completely satisfied with everything that goes on at Aquarius. Our flexible refund policies allow our students to withdraw from the course until 60% of the course is done. For more details on refund policy read our enrollment agreement
COMPUTER LABS Students have access to the computer labs any time during regular hours while enrolled in a class at AICS.
Free access to the labs is available when a class is in session, unless enrolled in a class.
Food is not allowed in the computer labs.
CONDUCT & COURTESY
Students should conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for the business/educational institution. Any student involved in obstruction/disruption of the training /business activities, theft or damage of AICS property or other misconduct will be subject to dismissal and no refunds will be issued.
JOB PLACEMENT
We can never guarantee you a job after attending our school. However, we have created several programs designed to place you in the best possible career that fits your needs. Our job placement program starts with an interview with our carrier councilor to determine which career path matches your core-competencies. We will provide you with help in writing a dynamic resume. We will forward your resumes to potential employer, frequently we post job position on our Bulletin Boards
